The International Parliament of the States for Safety and Peace is parallel to the United Nations.
On March 31st 2005 The Supreme Council of International Parliament of Safety and Peace appointed Dr. Kevin C. King as Deputy Member of The Assembly and Minister Plenipotentiary to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
The mission of the organization is to work with the Government of the Bahamas by assisting with humanitarian efforts within the Bahamas and Caribbean. Additionally, we aim to support the Bahamas in areas such as elections, disasters, education, conflicts and medical assistance through its medical branch WONMP, (World Organization of Natural Medicine Practitioners). These efforts will be accomplished through a partnership with the Bahamas Government, and other non-governmental organizations. International Parliament has established affiliations with learning institutions in The Bahamas with accredited Universities throughout the United States and the world.
Our programs have reduced the cost of healthcare to The Bahamas government, through our free clinical services to Bahamian Senior Citizens, who may be impeded with chronic ailments. These ailments include diabetes type 2, arthritis, hypertension, and digestive concerns. After conducting surveys through-out the region, we concluded that these ailments palce the greatest burdens on the public healthcare system.
International Parliament has also set in motion the ground work for the establishment of the University of Humanitarian Medicine, which will be located on the island of Andros. The largest Island in the Bahama chain. The University will also house a rural clinic; specializing in the use of only natural and herbal medicines and therapies. The university shall be the training and learning center for Doctor’s of Natural Medicine from all over the world.
